Iron Cubs Barbell is designed for children to learn the wonderful sport of Olympic Weightlifting.
OLY lifting is not only safe for kids, but it will help them grow stronger, forming new neural pathways and strengthening important synapses required for a positive future.
Classes will be taught in small bursts, intermingled with Cardio conditioning, games and stretching. As an advocate for exercise enforcing maturity, the classes will also focus on integrity, respect and teamwork – essential building blocks for future leaders.
Our program will start from the very beginning. Learning to move the body through space, range of motion and understanding movement mechanics – before progressing to any form of load.
OLY can either be seen as a primary sporting goal (potentially leading to competition), or as an auxiliary program to assist other sports (CrossFit, Swimming, Football, Basketball etc.)
