General Bio:

I have done some form of sport my whole life. Starting off in the dance world, covering off most disciplines of dance at some stage during my life, which eventually took me to the USA to perform at Disneyland – highlight of my dance life!  Have also been a competitive swimmer here and there, including making a comeback to successfully compete at Masters Nationals.  Most recently have turned my love of swimming and running into endurance events, including completing 3 full marathons (New York!!) and most recently completing my first half Ironman distance.  

After hanging up the business suits, I chased my dream of working in the health and fitness industry. I’ve been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for 7 years. Initially working in women’s health and weight loss in Adelaide.  I fell in love with CrossFit almost 6 years ago before moving to Melbourne where I started as an athlete at Iron Bear.  I’ve been a CrossFit coach for 3 years, and also work as a Remedial Massage Therapist.

I would have to say my biggest passion around CrossFit is coaching it. I love welcoming new members to the gym and guiding them through the start of their CrossFit life.  I thrive in seeing our members push themselves to achieve their goals, and I love that we have such a diverse group of athletes in our gym.  No matter who you are, or what your background is, Iron Bear is a place for everyone.
