I started CrossFit approximately 4 years ago after watching the games on YouTube. I was getting bored of the same old mundane gym routines & liked the idea of mixing up weightlifting and cardio into one good solid session. The best part for me is that no workout is ever the same & once I started, I was hooked straight away!
I have always been interested in health & fitness & prior to starting CrossFit I was going to the gym 4-5 times a week and was also running and playing football. I have completed several half marathons and still enjoy mixing running into my CrossFit programming.
As a coach, I enjoy setting goals for athletes and ensuring that they get the most out of themselves. I feel that watching athletes push themselves to achieve these goals makes my job very rewarding. I also love the programming side of CrossFit as it allows me to create challenging and fun workouts.
